In December of 2017, Zack and Sarit were both using Hinge, a dating app. After matching on the app and two rescheduled dates (sorry, Zack), Sarit and Zack finally decided to go out to dinner at Zack’s favorite restaurant, Naiyara, on December 11th, 2017. Zack picked Sarit up outside of her apartment building in Brickell, and the first thing Sarit said when getting in the car was “do you know how to pronounce my name?” When Zack pronounced it correctly, Sarit knew she had met the nice Jewish boy she had been looking for. Fast forward to a 2nd date, 3rd date, meeting Zack’s parents, and a trip to Chicago, Sarit and Zack both knew that they were each other’s person. 3.5 years later (to the day), Sarit and Zack were “meeting their best friends for dinner” at the Angle restaurant at the Eau Palm Beach. After being told that our friends were waiting for us outside by the water, Zack led Sarit to an oceanfront cabana decorated with roses and champagne, and popped the question!
