Ours happens to start in Cape Town, South Africa at Tallan’s dad’s company, where Sarina arrived bright-eyed, ambitious, and unaware that she was about to become the plot twist in Tallan’s life. For Tallan, it was absolutely, undeniably love at first sight. Let’s just say Sarina needed the extended edition. She flew home after her internship, leaving Tallan with nothing but hope and a workplace that was suddenly far less interesting. Luckily fate, and HR, stepped in. Sarina returned for a second internship, and now the timing matched the chemistry. From then on, they were inseparable. But let’s be honest: Sarina was circling the globe, while Tallan spent the first 1.5 years mastering romantic airport pickups, emotional goodbyes, and long-distance video calls. Eventually, Tallan convinced Sarina to move to Cape Town with him, and together they spent eight amazing years in South Africa, building a life of laughter, adventure, and enough glasses of wine to fund a small vineyard. In 2021 they got married in the most “them” way possible: a sweet, intimate, heartfelt celebration. Then came the move to New York (before anyone asks, Tallan wasn’t in it for a green card!), where they continue their adventure with more stories, more memories, and a puppy that keeps their energy high and their step count higher. Now, after everything they’ve done, there’s one more thing: It’s Time for the Wedding Party! On May 2, 2026, we’re gathering the people we love from all over the world to finally celebrate "I still do" - with joy, laughter, and all the dancing we didn’t do the first time around.
