South Beach
Stroll down South Beach’s crown jewel, Lincoln Road Mall, at any time of day or night — and there’s always something exciting happening. The ten-block mecca of shopping, dining and entertainment is constantly bustling with a mix of locals and tourists, which creates an unmistakable energy and an ultimate spot for people-watching. Wondering how to dress? Lincoln is a place with a “come-as-you-are” attitude, with people decked out in everything from bathing suits (Lincoln is conveniently located to the beach) to cocktail attire.
South Pointe Drive
Stroll down the beach along Ocean Drive and you’re in the heart of Miami’s most famous beach. It’s the one you’ve seen on the big screen and read about in magazines. South Beach stretches from the South Pointe Park Beach all the way to Collins Park on 21st and 22nd Streets, where you’ll find the Bass Museum of Art and the W South Beach. Head a little farther up the coast and you’ll be on Miami Beach’s central stretch of sand, spanning from Collins Park to Indian Beach Park around 46th Street, near the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach. This area is famous for towering beachfront resorts and features an elevated boardwalk that’s great for a jog with a water view.
Area 31 Lounge@ EPIC HOTEL
One of Miami’s hottest rooftop bar scenes, especially during happy hour on Fridays, Area 31 is a place to see and be seen in downtown. Sway to the sounds of a live DJ by the pool and soak up the stunning city views featuring the Brickell Avenue skyline to the south & Biscayne Bay to the east. On Fridays, “chase the clock” with $5 drinks / bar bites at 5 p.m., $6 at 6 p.m., $7 at 7 p.m. and so on until closing.
