No cell phones at the ceremony? Really?

Answer

Yes, really. Zero. None. Nada. Not even for my mother!! We have been waiting for this special moment for 5 years. Please be respectful of our wishes to have an unplugged, cellphone free ceremony. Yes, this means we ask that you do not take photos of the bride or groom during the ceremony, walking down the aisle, dances, and speeches. Thank you for respecting our wishes.

What time does the wedding start? What about traffic?

Answer

We will be fighting Friday rush hour traffic. If you are coming from downtown or the domain please allow 30-40+ minutes to get across town. The wedding will start promptly at 5:30 pm.

Is there parking at the venue? Should I take an Uber instead?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at Barr Mansion. Should you need to leave your car overnight please pick it up promptly by 11 AM. Yes, we suggest using Lyft or Uber for safe and responsible rides. The roads to Barr Mansion are winding and unpredictable. Please have a DD or use a car service.

Are kids invited?

No. Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. No jeans, please. Ladies, the venue is gravel, grass and stone please keep this in mind when selecting your shoes.
