We're getting hitched!

We met while playing ball hockey. Jeff asked me out in the middle of a game, but not realizing it, I breezily blew him off, saying that I couldn't because I was going home for the Jewish High Holidays. The following week my friend on the team came up to me and said, "Did you know Jeff asked you out last week? Here is his number if you are interested. I think you should say, "Yes." And from there our story began.

On New Year's Eve, January 2021, Jeff and I went for a night skate on Mirror Lake in Lake Placid. At midnight a small group of people came to the lake and set off fireworks right in front of us. As the fireworks were concluding, Jeff took out the ring and went down on one knee. I, of course said, "yes", feeling excited and ready for our next adventure!
