We're Getting Married

Our love story began in an unexpected place—working side by side at the San Diego Zoo during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Amid uncertainty, we found something steady: each other. Our first date was simple and perfect—riding bikes along the water, with the sun on our backs and the sound of the waves crashing. From that moment on, adventure became a theme in our relationship. Our first big trip was a cross-country road trip, filled with unforgettable stops in Las Vegas, the breathtaking landscapes of Utah and Colorado, the beaches of Florida, and the bustling streets of New York. Eventually, we took a leap of faith together, moving to Wisconsin to pursue our dreams. We braved freezing winters, snowstorms, and a whole new chapter of life—emerging stronger with a nursing degree and a fire degree between us. We returned to San Diego stronger than ever, adopted our sweet pup Nala, and took our first backpacking trip abroad. Through it all, we've shared laughter, challenges, late-night talks, and endless dreams. What started as a workplace connection has turned into a lifetime of shared dreams and countless adventures. And now, we look forward to exploring the world—hand in hand, one journey at a time.
