Maid of Honor
Krystyn is Amanda's oldest cousin and oldest friend. She has supported Amanda through everything, every high and low since they were kids. Krystyn is someone Amanda has been able to look up to, not only as a person but as a mother as well. A calming force in Amanda’s life, it really was a no-brainer to ask her to be her maid of honor.
Best Man
Chris has been an incredible friend to Ben for 12 years. They were even roommates in Long Beach for a couple of months, making some fun memories to tell. He is a romantic through and through, we knew he was the perfect choice for Best Man.
Bridesmaid
After a unique introduction, Ashley and Amanda have known each other for 11 years. She is a genuinely kind and caring person—someone you'd want on your team through the ups and downs in life. We are so happy she agreed to be one of Amanda's wonderful bridesmaids.
Groomsman
"Big T" and Ben met freshman year of college. They had mutual friends and become rather close throughout the years. He and his wife have hosted Ben and Amanda several times at their beautiful home in Washington DC, one of the visits - we got engaged and they helped Ben plan everything out! Having people we love and who support us as a couple was the things we considered when coming up with who we wanted to ask to be a part of our wedding party, Taylor was a clear choice for both of us.
Bridesmaid
The first time Amanda met Alex, she was all but 4, and one of the things that stuck out to Amanda was how goofy and enjoyable she was to be around. Some things never change. When Alex is around, you know there will be loads of laughs and someone who will be down to do anything with you. Whether that means going to Best Buy dressed like the 80s to get a Journey CD or binge-watching your latest reality TV obsession - Alex is the one you want with you. Alex and Amanda's bond grew into a sister-like bond after living together for a couple of years. All of the reasons listed above and so much more are why it made sense to have her beside Amanda during this important day.
Groomsman
Everyone's favorite story about this friendship is that it literally began when Ben and Julian's mothers were pregnant. They were even born three weeks apart. They grew up together and spent a lot of time together, too. Ever heard of The Skatom Bombs? Yeah, they were in that Pasadena-based ska band together. Having a lifelong friendship is really special, and Julian's friendship means a lot to Ben. We are thrilled he agreed to join us on our special day.
Bridesmaid
Favi and Amanda knew each other and the intimidating "scene" girls in high school. They were both nervous about talking to each other, but Amanda was so glad she decided to extend a friendship. It has been over 19 years, and Faviola has always been there. Whether going to concerts, soccer games, or just sitting at home talking with a glass of wine, Amanda always feels refreshed after spending time with her dear friend. This is why we thought of asking her to join us; without her, the wedding party would have been incomplete.
Groomsman
Last but not least, Bear, Ben's sibling. He is 5 years younger than Ben, but they have always had a unique and strong bond. They have managed to be there for each other even though they have lived on opposite coasts for quite some time. Bear was always going to be at Ben's wedding, so we couldn't have thought of anyone better to round out our wedding party.
Officiant
Brian and Ben go way back. Ben was one of the few present at his wedding, we knew we wanting him involved in ours somehow. Brian is someone who has tons of personality and he simply loves love. Being an officiant isn’t an easy task but we know we picked the right person for the job.
