We're getting married!

We believe that God is the center and foundation of everything and that is how we met, in the Father's house. We were part of a very small, young adult group at our church in San Francisco. Two bay area kids who shared a lot of laughs, community dinners, bowling nights, and ramen dinners. We were good friends for a little over a year before we started to grow closer to God and closer to each other. We went from serving in our church almost every Sunday to hanging out outside of church and enjoying each other's company. July 25, 2022 is when we made our love story official.

It was Leila's 24th birthday when Baltazar proposed. We woke up and decided to grab a quick meal brunch at Caffe Central in Burlingame. We had plans to go roller skating with all of our friends that evening so we decided go to best buy to buy film for our polaroid, walk around a few shops down on Valencia in San Francisco, and have dinner at Okaeri before meeting up our loved ones. Leila had NO IDEA what was coming.. Baltazar very "smoothly" suggested, "Let's go to the conservatory of flowers and I can take some birthday pictures of you on my polaroid." When we got there, we were reminiscing on the few memories we had over there. We took a couple picture of each other and that is when Baltazar started to share his heart with Leila. After his really sweet speech, he asked me to close my eyes and when I opened my eyes, he was on one knee ready to ask me for my hand in marriage. AND I SAID YES!!!!
