Question

Guiding Eyes for the Blind

Answer

Guiding Eyes provides guide dogs to people with vision loss, free of charge. Jeff had the privilege of raising a guide dog with this amazing charity and witnessed firsthand the profound impact it has—not only on those who receive the dogs but on everyone who comes into contact with the organization. The sense of independence and empowerment they offer to individuals is nothing short of life-changing.

Question

Project Scientist

Answer

Project Scientist envisions a future where every girl and woman has the opportunity to explore, excel, and lead in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)—where barriers are broken, potential is unleashed, and dreams become reality. In a world that thrives on diversity, we believe innovation flourishes when we embrace the full spectrum of gender, race, and identity. Sara Page attended Davidson College majoring in Mathematics driving a personal connection to this mission. Jeff and Sara Page both stand firm in the belief that our communities are strongest when every individual’s talents are recognized, nurtured, and celebrated. This mission-driven charity is committed to empowering the next generation of trailblazers, ensuring that every daughter, sister, and girl has the support, resources, and inspiration to reach her fullest potential.

Question

The American Red Cross

Answer

The Red Cross has been a pillar of disaster relief, especially for the communities of Western North Carolina after Hurricane Helene. These areas are just a short distance from where our wedding reception will be held, and we saw firsthand how the Red Cross’s efforts helped countless people who lost everything. Both Jeff and Sara Page are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support this organization continues to provide, not just here, but across the world.

Question

American Cancer Society

Answer

One in every two men and one in every three women will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Both of us have seen the heartbreaking impact of this disease on loved ones, which is why the work of the American Cancer Society is so important to us. Their efforts to improve the lives of people with cancer, through advocacy, research, and patient support, give hope to those affected and help ensure everyone has a chance to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
