Why We Chose to Get Married in AntiguaWhy We Chose to Get Married in Antigua

Some of you may have wondered why we chose Antigua for our wedding and assumed it was simply because it’s where my (Frank's) family is from. While that connection is meaningful, the truth runs much deeper. Antigua has become a sanctuary for our relationship: a place that calms our souls, nurtures our hearts, and has sustained our love through some of our most challenging seasons. It is here that we found the grace to heal old wounds and rediscover the dreams we always held for our life together. The island itself mirrors who we are: the calm, gentle waters of the Caribbean Sea and the vibrant, colourful, spicy and rhythmic melodies of Carnival capture our personalities perfectly. Antigua has become our home away from home; a place that someday we can call our primary home. As you make plans to join us in Antigua this August, you will find in the “Things To Do" section of our wedding website some places that have captured our hearts. Each one holds a memory, a feeling, or a moment that reflects why this island is the perfect place for us to say “I do.” While you are in Antigua to celebrate with us, we hope you’ll explore the Antigua we’ve come to adore. We hope that our wedding will not just be a ceremony, but an experience into our #softbeachlife we’re grateful to share with you. This island is a part of our love story, and we hope it becomes a part of your story too.
