It is with a playful spirit and a light heart that Sara makes this offering to herself, to you, and to the world.

Sara made her final oblation and took the oblate name Maria at St. Scholastica Priory in March, 2019. During this ceremony, she promised to serve humankind according to the Rule of St. Benedict.

Sara understands the Immaculate Heart of Mary as a continuation of the eternal flame of Vesta. On the other side of suffering, there is vitality & flourishing. Art by Sarah Graziano.

On the journey to self-marriage, Sara has learned how to experience pleasure without guilt or shame. Engaging with sensual delights, such as eating flowers, is a spiritual practice for Sara.
