Lake Atalanta
Looking for a place for fresh air, check out this beautiful lake where the happy couple likes to spend their weekends! Includes paved walking/running/biking trial around the lake, mountain bike/hiking trails, and a very nice playground for the kids.
Slaughter Pen Trail
Northwest Arkansas is known for it's mountain biking, check out some of the trails! Slaughter Pen is one of NWA's many mountain biking trail systems and is scheduled to be the home of the 2022 World Cyclocross Championships! A few of the bike shops in down town Bentonville even have MTB rentals and Slaughter Pen trail access.
Devil's Den State Park
One of the area's favorite weekend destinations. This one is a little further out, but for those of you that can't get enough of the great outdoors Devil's Den is home to some of the best hiking in the state.
