Hope is Sara Lynn's type one diabetic alert dog. Hope smells changes in Sara Lynn's blood sugar levels and alerts her when her blood sugars are going high and low. We think she is the best dog in the world, but we are only slightly biased!

Carla and I have been friends since middle school! Carla is the only person allowed to call me “Sara.” Every time she sees me she screams my name at the top of her lungs and runs as fast as she can for a huge hug.

Justin has always been there for me no matter what was going on in my life. He is a great husband and father to his new son, Houston. I lived with Justin and Stephanie during my transition from Virginia to North Carolina, and we definitely had the neighbors wondering what was going on!
