We kindly ask for your RSVP by Friday, October 3rd so we can finalize our plans.
The ceremony and reception will take place at 4:00 PM and will be held at Marchand Ranch, located at 4807 CO-9, Cañon City, CO 81212.
Think polished and elegant, a step above casual but not as formal as black tie. For Women: Dresses that range from knee-length to floor-length, or other elevated looks that feel special and put-together. Heels, wedges, or stylish flats work well. For Men: Slacks or dress pants with a button-down shirt, with the option of adding a blazer or suit jacket. A tie is welcome but not required. Dress shoes or polished loafers finish the look.
Please note that the parking area is unpaved (dirt). Pathways vary throughout the venue—some are gravel, some are paved sidewalk, and others are grass turf.
While we absolutely adore children, we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration, with the exception of our ring bearer, flower girl, and nursing infants. We hope this allows everyone (including parents!) to relax, enjoy, and celebrate with us. Thank you for understanding!
We’ll be doing a Dollar Dance during the reception! If you’d like to join in, please bring a few dollars (cash) to dance with the bride or groom and share a special moment with us.
We kindly ask that you join us in having an unplugged ceremony. Please turn off your phones and cameras so everyone can be fully present and enjoy the moment together. Our professional photographer will capture all the special memories for you to cherish! Thank you for understanding.
You can expect mild fall weather with daytime temperatures typically ranging from the mid-50s to low 60s (°F). Evenings may get cooler, dropping into the 40s, so we recommend dressing in layers to stay comfortable. Light jackets or sweaters are perfect for the ceremony and outdoor moments.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you in beautiful Canon City, Colorado (elevation 5,315 ft)! To help you feel your best in the mountains: Hydrate well before and during your visit—high elevation can dehydrate you quickly. Take it easy when you arrive, especially if you're coming from lower altitudes—some may feel lightheaded or short of breath. Dress in layers as temps can shift throughout the day. Bring a light jacket, sweater, and breathable clothes. Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat—the sun is stronger at elevation. Let us know if you have any questions.
The ceremony is planned to be outdoors. However, we have an indoor backup indoor space available at the venue in case of inclement weather.
