Sara was good friends with Andrew’s brother Jason. Over the course of 2 years Sara and Andrew met a few times in passing. It wasn’t until May of 2019 where they had their first conversation about Ireland and their love for travel. They set up a date for June 3rd 2019 and the rest is history.

The pair were in reykjavik Iceland. Andrew planned his proposal for months. His plan was to propose on top of a volcano to which they were hiking. He planned to fly his drone to capture the special moment. His plan was foiled due to wind and rain that day. The next day the weather was the same and time was running out. Suddenly the clouds cleared and the sun came out. He quickly took Sara on a walk along the water a little further out away from the city to a picturesque spot. His drone wouldn’t fly due to being too close to a city. So he ditched that plan, took out his camera and captured the lovely moment on video. Sara had no idea any of this was happening and was surprised by the proposal.
