Explore the French Quarter which is located right near our venue, The Westin. Check out the talented artists in Jackson Square and be sure to grab a beignet and cafe au lait at Cafe du Monde.
Magazine Street
Magazine street is one of our favorite streets to explore! Don't miss visiting some of the cutest boutiques, delicious restaurants, and fun bars all within walking distance of each other.
Ms. Mae's
This list wouldn't be complete without mentioning our favorite hangout. Ms. Maes is a local's haven with cheap (but potent!!) drinks and incredible vibes. Air hockey competitions are a must when visiting. Bar is cash only but it's open 24 hours!
Saint Charles Streetcar, St Charles Homes, The Columns Hotel
Take the streetcar all the way down the iconic St. Charles Avenue and be sure to view some of the stunning homes. There are also many restaurants to visit along the way. If you take it all the way down near the start, you'll be able to visit Audubon Park (where we got engaged!) as well as our alma mater, Tulane University. One of our most visited spots is The Columns Hotel, an old converted mansion in true New Orleans Style. Here, you'll be able to get some good food and drinks too and enjoy views from their southern style porch.
The National WWII Museum
WWII Museum is a military history museum located in the Central Business District with incredible artifacts that can only be found on site.
