We will be serving heavy hors d'oeuvres just after the reception starts at 9pm. Because this is late, we recommend having an early dinner before coming. See some of our favorite places in Golden on the Things To Do page.
The dress code is cocktail attire: a suit or a dress shirt with a tie, or a knee-, midi-, or full-length dress or dressy separates. New Year's Eve sparkle and festivity is encouraged, but not required! Please no jeans or other casual attire. Dancing without shoes on is NOT allowed! Please feel free to bring a changes of shoes for the dance floor if you want.
No transportation will be needed! The reception and ceremony will be at The Rose. The Golden Hotel is walking distance from The Rose, and all other wedding events will be walking distance too!
Yes! If you're not staying at The Golden Hotel, there are two public parking garages within one block of The Rose: Public Garage 1 (North) 702 12th St. Golden, CO 80401 Public Garage 2 (South) 1250 Jackson St. Golden, CO 80401

This will be an adults-only event due to the late evening schedule.
You can call an Uber/Lyft from the airport to Golden for under $100 and about 45 minutes. For a lower cost but longer time (about 2 hours), you can take light rail line A from the airport to Denver's Union Station, then light rail line W from Union Station to Jefferson County Government Center, then call a 10 minute Uber/Lyft to The Golden Hotel. You can also rent a car at the airport, but all wedding events will be walking distance to The Golden Hotel - no driving necessary!
