Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Ian Frame

Best Man

Ian and I really started to bond when we were both living in the 53 man fraternity house by ourselves over Winter Break. From there it has been a tale of traveling around the US, experimenting with new restaurants, and sending each other jokes from The Office. One of my favorite memories with Ian was when I was staying at his house while traveling for work. Then the infamous Atlanta Snowpocalypse happened and I had to crash on Ian's couch for a few extra unplanned days. We cooked whatever was left in the house and played board games with his other roommates.

Bekah Lee

Maid of Honor

Bekah is Sarah's younger sister. We have many silly memories growing up in the Lee household including Tom Lehrer singalongs, family vacations and blanket fashion shows. Though somewhat distant as teens, our relationship has matured into a very fun sister dynamic as adults. We enjoy sending funny memes and videos to each other and now have some similar interests in sewing and cooking. I am very excited to have her stand with me on my special day!

Jason Stott

Groomsman

Jason and I met at Theta Xi while attending Georgia Tech. We immediately hit off with our love of sports, Taco Mac, and similar styles of humor. While I lived away from home in college, I was always included in holiday celebrations with Jason and his wife Kristen and their families. One of my favorite memories with Jason was when Kristen and I helped plan a surprise party for Jason's 30th birthday. Jason and I went golfing during the day to distract him from the party set up that Kristen was doing at home (I definitely had the easier job). The surprise was a big success and everyone had a great time!

Spencer Covington

Person of Honor

Spencer is Sarah's longest and closest friend. Spencer and I met in elementary school at church and became inseparable during middle school. Spencer is the best person to be around in any situation because they have my back no matter what. We can both meet up in bad moods because of other things going on and by the end we have tears in our eyes from laughing so hard. When I first introduced Spencer to Stephen, Spencer was initially skeptical and trying to stay impartial, but halfway through dinner, they finally had to give in and admit how perfect Stephen and I were for each other. Since then, Spencer has been so encouraging and supportive of Stephen and I and they did an amazing assist with our engagement. I am so blessed to have them standing with me as a person of honor!

James Homesley

Groomsman

When we first met in college James was a senior while I was a freshman. I instantly earned some street cred since I could get James free tickets to all of the Georgia Tech away football games. James and I have traveled to over 8 different stadiums together along with other fraternity brothers, and we continue to get GT football season tickets together. One of my favorite memories with James was in college when we went to eat Chick-fil-a for dinner. James was advised to stop trying to force everyone's trash into 1 bag to which he replied "Don't tell me what I can't do." James then proceeded to break the bag of trash and spill an entire large milkshake all over the floor.

Laura Daniels

Bridesmaid

Laura is a friend that is like a sister to Sarah. Laura and I met in 2012 and became fast friends. We have managed to have some crazy adventures including several Luke Bryan concerts and meeting Charles Barkley. We have also had the opportunity to do lots of everyday life things together and I am "Aunt Sarah" to her 5 kids. Through all of the business that she has going on in her life, she still makes time for our friendship. She also always makes sure I am safe by tracking my location and making sure I'm not trapped in a stranger's trunk. (Ask me about my and Stephen's Valentines date). I am so excited to have her stand with me for this milestone.

Derek McCurry

Groomsman

Derek and I first met on the bus headed to Fraternity Rush at Georgia Tech and we ended up being in the same pledge class at Theta Xi. We have spent spring breaks together at my parents house in Florida and St. Patrick's Day celebrations at Derek's parents house in Savannah. One of my favorite memories with Derek also involved another groomsman (James). Derek and James were trying to teach me how to do a hand stand in James' first post college apartment. When I made my first attempt (not knowing my own strength) I ended up putting a very large hole in the drywall of James' living room. We have never seen Derek laugh so hard in our life. And yes I paid to get the wall fixed..... Sort of.

Miranda Lee

Bridesmaid

Miranda is Sarah's sister-in-law. As you can tell from the picture, Miranda and I have known each other long before she started dating my brother. Her parents were my Bible class teachers in college and I had a chance to get to know Miranda some when she was brought along on a trip with our class one time. When she and my brother started dating, I was excited because I already knew how sweet she was. I consider myself blessed to have her as a sister-in-law and I am very thankful for how we get along and enjoy hanging out with each other.

Jacob Lee

Groomsman

Jacob and I met when Sarah and I first started dating. Jacob and his wife Miranda have always been very kind and supportive in our relationship. Jacob and I have been able to share some fun memories over family dinners, vacations, and celebrations. One of my favorite memories of Jacob was when his older sister Bekah asked him about his new job. Jacob's first description was "Well I'm basically a middleman for other middlemen." Everyone at the dinner table got a good laugh out of it.

Brooke Kunkle

Bridesmaid

Brooke is one of my newest friends, but she is so fabulous I had to have her in my bridal party. She and Stephen have known each other since 2019 when Stephen moved back to Georgia and got involved in YoungLife Griffin. From the very beginning, Brooke has been so supportive of our relationship and even helped me plan a surprise graduation shower for Stephen before I had even met her. She has opened her home to me multiple times so that I could spend the night close to Stephen and not have to drive the hour and a half back to Acworth. She is truly a gem and I can't wait to spend more time together after the wedding when I move down to Hampton.
