When and where is the wedding?

We’re exchanging vows on October 2, 2026 at beautiful Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe, California. Our reception will follow that evening with everyone at our home in Camino, CA at 7:30 pm.

Is the reception child free?

Answer

Yes — we love your little ones, but our reception will be adults-only due to it being in the evening. Thank you for understanding!

What should I wear?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors and lakeside, and the reception will be partially outdoors. We suggest semi-formal attire (dressy but comfortable), and please keep in mind that evenings can be chilly — bring a layer just in case!

When should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive 15–20 minutes before the ceremony start time to allow for parking and walking to the ceremony spot.

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! Food will be served at our Camino reception. We’ll provide beer and wine, and invite you to BYOB if you’d like to enjoy your favorite drink.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Camino and Placerville have cozy inns and rentals close to the reception. We recommend booking early since October is a popular time in the area.

Can I bring a gift?

Answer

Your presence is truly the greatest gift! Since we’re eloping and keeping things simple, we kindly ask no boxed gifts.
