Road to Hana
You'll need a rental car to experience the Road to Hana. Please note: there are a lot of switchbacks along this road, it's not well suited for those who get motion sickness easily. You can also do a guided tour to Hana as an alternative to renting your own car.

Ideal for a morning run, and perfect for a sunrise/sunset walk

You'll need a rental car and may need to reserve a space ahead of time- check website for more details.
Garden of Eden Arboretum
You'll need a rental car. This is a good turning back point along the road to Hana if you can't do the entire thing.

You'll need a rental car. Beautiful black sand beach (along the road to Hana)

Paia
Paia is located on the North Shore of Maui. It is known for its serene white-sand beaches and laidback country vibes. Paia is also known as the windsurfing capital of the world, where professional windsurfing competitions are held.

A casual, family atmosphere, this small restaurant offers large portions of food at reasonable prices. Available Cajun style, charbroiled, or sautéed, fresh fish is the specialty there. Locations in Kihei and Paia!
