Tiffany Kim

Maid of Honor

Hello! My name is Tiffany and just like Michelle, I'm not exactly sure when we met, but I do know that Sarah and I met at TFPC back in high school. We never talked to each other until we were both in college group together and the rest is history. She ended up being my small group leader which turned into a friendship/sisterhood I could never have imagined and probably don't deserve. As cold as Sarah can be, I've never seen her so happy until I saw her with Johnny. I can't wait to see what God has in store for you and am so honored to be on this journey with you guys!

Danny Han

Best Man

Hi everyone! My name is Danny and yes, I’m the brother, and YES, I know we don’t look alike (Fun fact: this man bullied me when I was a wee child by telling me I was adopted and I cried hella). Let me tell you though, there are probably only a few people more excited than I am about the fact that my brother has met and, is now marrying, Sarah. Having literally lived my entire life getting in trouble by our mom for even being slightly associated with his shenanigans, I was so incredibly happy to see my brother meet such an awesome woman who I see has made a positive impact on him. Regardless, it feels surreal seeing my brother get married, but I am so happy for him and can’t wait to see what God plans for the newly married couple!

Michelle Joh

Bridesmaid

Hi, my name is Michelle and I honestly don't even remember when exactly I met Sarah! We were at TFPC together back in our pre-pubescent days, and our friendship has grown exponentially over time. I consider Sarah as my forever-SG leader-- someone who is never afraid to rebuke me in order to lead me in the right direction. She has literally seen me in every stage of my life since middle school from the lowest of the lows, to the highest of highs. I've also been with Sarah on most of her major milestones, and I think we have a special bond. I consider her like a second sister, and I am honestly a bit sad that she won't be mine anymore, but I wish her all of the happiness in the world. Hopefully, Johnny doesn't get iced by the Ice Queen! Cheers & many happy returns! I wuv you Sor!

Andrew Baek

Groomsman

My name is Andrew and Johnny is my Filipino brother. We are hometown friends meaning we went through the most awkward and confused stages of life together... too many cringeworthy memories that make you kick your blanket at night. I’ve spent most of my high school days at Johnny’s, watching White Chicks the movie on repeat, eating all his food and getting my fair share of ear-beatings from Mrs. Han. Grateful for this shekki. Happy to be a part of their special day.

June Chang

Bridesmaid

Hi my name is June and I met Sarah in UCI. We bonded over being mutual haters of the same things in a certain car ride that will forever be in our memories. Since then we've gone through a lot of major milestones together and our friendship/sisterhood has only persevered. Everyone who knows Sarah knows that she is pretty selective with the people she likes so I am honored to be part of her wedding crew. Can't wait to see what the future holds (especially when she has a baby so she can join me and Susan in motherhood (; )

Peter Lim

Groomsman

Hi, my name is Peter and I met Johnny when we were attending UC Irvine. Supposedly, we met during our first year, but I honestly don’t remember that :) We began to hang out during our last two years, and in the short amount of time we had we became close friends. Since then, Johnny has been one of those friends whom I can just go talk to about anything. It’s crazy how fast the time went by now that he is marrying Sarah. But I am so happy to see them tying the knot and moving onto the next chapter in life!

Susan Kim

Bridesmaid

Susan Sarah Sarah Susan Since I met Sarah 8 years ago, our names have become interchangeable. Not a big deal though, just one of the many things we love to laugh over, though our favorite thing to laugh about when we were roommates was nothing at all... literally. We would lay in our beds with the lights off and for no reason at all begin a laugh-fest. I’m so blessed to have a friend I can simply enjoy anything with and one who is so honest and genuine. I hope she’ll save laugh-fests for only me though, as I have the honor of standing by her as she moves on to live with her forever roomie.

Eric Chen

Groomsman

Rooming and doing life together with Johnny these past few years were some of the best. I’ll always cherish our late night talks over whiskey, early morning devotionals over coffee, and spontaneous fast food runs (which we’d always hide from our better halves). We bore the daily grind of school and work together in the most un-sexy but somehow most redeeming way. We talked about our aspirations and visions for our relationships, our struggles and failures of old, and Big Macs. These past few years blew by. And while I’m grieved Sarah took my roommate away, I’m thankful that Johnny will finally have someone who can give him what I never could: full-body massages for when he next throws out his back. Can’t wait to stand alongside these two on their big day. Love you both, but Johnny more.
