Blue Mountain Ranch is my family's farm about 25 mins away from the capital city Belmopan.

Bird watching, fry jack & beans

5:30 am - 4:00 pm

This is a completely optional event!

For the bird keeners, the birds are up at 5:30AM and Marty will be leading a bird watching "tour" at the farm. We will head to Sleeping Giant lodge for fry jacks (breakfast) after birdwatching. During the rest of the day, Sarah-Monique will be horseback riding at Green Acres (across the hwy) and all of my horsey and non horsey friends are invited to join. Other activities close to the farm are swimming at Blue Hole national park, lamanai chocolate tours and cave tubing at Blue hole.

We will be heading down south on the 16th to spend 2 nights in Placencia. From here they are many options for tours off the mainland to cayes for snorkeling, fishing, swimming & beach lounging. Placencia is a very pedestrian friendly place with lots of different food and accommodation options for all! We will be staying at the Seaspray hotel which would be amazing for friends to stay with us at - though booking well in advance is advisable. Many shuttle and express bus services run from Placencia - Belize airport as well as small planes.
