How It All Started...

His and Her POV

His POV In April 2020, I met Sarah online while the shutdown was still going on. First virtually, then in Verona Park for a few days. Pretty soon after we began to talk every day and have taken many trips together all throughout NJ, NYC, and PA. She was an amazing person and I knew she was going to be the love of my life not long after we met. We became heavily involved in church together serving in so many ways and our friends and family have been there so much to support us throughout the years. Our love has grown so much since we first met and by God's grace, it keeps on growing! A few months ago I knew proposing to Sarah was going to be tricky without me revealing to her the idea that I was going to soon. So I had to make sure I gave her the ring without her suspecting it'd be on my person... but I'm pretty sure she had a feeling it was going to happen on October 22nd, 2023. I'm so happy she said yes to be my wife and I'm so excited to celebrate our love with you all on July 26th! Her POV I first met Matthew in a park near my house a month after our state shut down due to covid, we were on separate blankets and wearing masks. We talked for hours and I remember thinking as he left, that I had just met a very special person. Fast forward a few years we have gone on so many adventures together, learned how to love the Lord and each other better and are now getting married! For those who want the story... We got engaged at Long Branch Beach (yes the same one that we will be married at) on October 22nd, 2023. Matthew played it cool the whole day to keep me surprised which is quite the feat because I may have given his pockets a little pat down that morning at church and then again at the beach.. you know, just incase; but because he knows me so well the ring was in the boot of his car wrapped in a blanket. And then my very favorite words he's ever said, "will you be my wife?" "YES!"
