Covid-19 Wedding FAQs

We are committed to hosting a fun and safe wedding event. Below are the FAQs for our Covid-19 protocol. We take the safety of our wedding party and guests seriously. Your assistance in following these guidelines while celebrating with us will make the wedding an even greater event. Thank you!
Question

Will masks be required?

Answer

Yes! Masks will be required at the sanctuary and the reception. Please bring your own mask. We will have cotton masks available for guests at both Southside Baptist Church and the reception venue. Please wear your mask unless you are eating or drinking.

Question

Should I take a Covid-19 test before attending the wedding?

Answer

Yes, if possible. While we will not require testing, we do highly encourage everyone to get tested the Wednesday or Thursday before the ceremony. If you are positive, please stay home and enjoy the ceremony online.

Question

I can't come in person, will there be a LIVE STREAM of the ceremony?

Answer

YES! Please follow this link to watch the live stream of the ceremony. The Live Stream will begin at 3:30 pm (CST).

Question

How will we be seated in the church?

Answer

All wedding guests will be seated in preselected groupings socially distanced inside the sanctuary. When you arrive at the church front doors, ushers will escort you in your preassigned seats. We will place family groups together as much as possible. Seating will begin at 3:15. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early in order to be seated in time for the ceremony.

Question

What do I do if I'm not feeling well or have a slight fever on the day of the wedding.

Answer

Don't Come! If you are not feeling 100% or have a slight fever, we ask you to participate online instead of in-person. This includes the wedding party and the wedding families. We love everyone too much for this added risk.

Question

Will there be temperature checks?

Answer

Yes. We will check the temperature of everyone before they enter the reception venue.

Question

What about the Reception?

Answer

The reception will be held at the 2 storied Bridge Street Gallery and Loft. Guest temperature will be checked before they enter. Guests will wear their masks at all times unless eating and drinking. Upstairs, the windows will be open to provide ventilation. Germ-X will be available throughout the reception venue all night.
