Greenville has quickly become a second home after my parents moved in March of 2021. I like to call it a "Hallmark town of the South" - it is enchanting, lively, and filled with so many wonderful local shops and restaurants. I am so excited for family and friends to see the town I have grown to love, and the chance to experience it during the most magical time of year - there truly is no place like it! Below I have currated a list of my personal favorites in the city - along with a more detailed list of food/drink options under the "FAQ" tab - so that you can enjoy some of Greenville's best while waiting for the main event!:) - SL

Falls Park on the Reedy

Taking a walk around Falls Park and over the bridge is a great way to see the main sight of downtown GVL - the waterfall! It is easy access from the venue and hotels listed in our travel recommendations, as well as to the local restaurants and shops

Swamp Rabbit trail

Gather GVL

A slightly further but scenic walk from the venue area with local shops scattered along the way - Gather GVL is a local favorite with a variety of food vendors. Beware - it is outdoors! Gather GVL is also located right next to the minor league field (Greenville Drive) for those eager to explore

Group Therapy Pub & Playground

Carmella's Cafe and Dessert Bar

My summer job between college and graduate school! YeeHaw Brewing is known for their Nashville Hot Chicken and beer brewed in-house. It is a couple blocks from the venue area, but worth the walk or Uber if you want good food, beer, and lotssss of TVs
