Sarah and Jordan met on Karaoke Night at their college bar (Maxi's) during their senior year at Temple. It was like a classic beginning to a modern romance movie where the guy buys the pretty girl a cocktail; however, in this story, Sarah was the guy, Jordan was the pretty girl, and the cocktail was a Miller High Life.

After months and months and months of talking (and zero pressure from Sarah), Jordan FINALLY asked Sarah to be his girlfriend on November 28, 2021! They spent the evening at a cute gay bar in South Philly before heading to Little Nonna's for a dinner filled with meatballs and red sauce.

After a couple years of doing extreme long distance (Manhattan to Somerset County), Sarah and Jordan moved into their apartment in Garwood. Since then, they have acquired more plants than a botanical garden and have mastered the art of continuously setting off their fire alarm.

Quickly after moving in together, Sarah and Jordan adopted their little bundle of joy, Beansprout! Since then, their nights have revolved around retrieving his toys from under the couch, picking up unbelievable amounts of stuffing from the floor, and thinking of new ways to entice him to eat his dinner slop bowls.

On the morning of January 25th 2026, Jordan and Sarah decided to go for a hike with Beansprout before the snow got too bad (hint: the snow was bad from the moment they woke up). Hitting the road at 7:30 AM, they avoided all traffic, because the only vehicles on the highways were Jordan's car and the snow plows. Once they got to the trail, they navigated through paths of ice and piles of snow before Jordan popped the question! Once they got home, they spent the rest of the day doing what they love: sipping Veuve Clicquot and watching football.
