Ah of course our story starts like any modern day romance, on a dating app. While we were both traveling for our jobs we matched on Hinge and talked for about three weeks before meeting in person. After the first date I was convinced I scared Cody away but then we went on another date the following weekend. A month later we were dating and two years later the rest is history!

Oh how sneaky he was pulling off the most magical proposal a girl could ask for. The day we got engaged, the family I worked for had some family portraits scheduled. Using that to his advantage, Cody was able to get me in the Gunnison National Forest fully ready for a photoshoot with a photographer, without suspecting a thing. While waiting on my work family to arrive at the photo location, the photographer, Cody, and I started our walk to scout locations within the forest. While I was yapping on about how pretty the forest was covered in snow, Cody took his chance and got down on one knee. Of course, I burst into tears and said yes. But he wasn't finished surprising me, because he had booked an engagement shoot to take place right there in the beautiful snow covered forest. I couldn't of asked for a more dreamy proposal and I can't imagine my life without Cody in it.
