House Or Rental
Airbnb and VRBO have lots of options in the Santa Barbara area. We recommend booking a room/house well in advance, especially on Fourth of July weekend. Home rental services are usually more affordable than hotels in the area.

The Santa Barbara Air Bus runs from LAX to La Cumbre Plaza in Santa Barbara at 8:00 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:30 PM, 5:30 PM, 7:30 PM, and 10:00 PM. The Santa Barbara Air bus runs from La Cumbre Plaza in Santa Barbara to LAX at 3:50 AM, 5:50 AM, 7:20 AM, 8:50 AM, 10:20 AM, 12:20 PM, 2:50 PM, and 6:20 PM.
Train
We've taken the Amtrak from LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) to SBA (Santa Barbara Amtrak Station) and it is extremely easy to navigate and much more affordable than getting a rental car. Santa Barbara is an extremely walkable city, so we recommend taking the Amtrak from the airport and enjoy walks down State Street and the beach while you are in Santa Barbara! Ubers are also readily available.
