Maid of Honor
Kelly and Sarah met on Sarah's 18th birthday and lived on the same Freshman floor dorm at UMD. They lived together for 3 years of medical school during which time Kelly's company and support were essential. Over the years, they have had countless adventures around Maryland (of course), Florida, the Bourbon Trail, Austin, & Philly. We could not ask for a more dependable, generous, and calming person to spend our wedding day alongside.
Best Man
Alex and Frank met Freshman year of college at RPI. They bonded though many shenanigans both in college and after when Alex moved to the DC suburbs and Frank moved to Baltimore. Frank was ordained a Jedi Knight to marry Alex and his wife Kristien who now live out in California. Although they're far, we're still close at heart. Alex has been the best confidant, voice of reason, and champagne swordsman (...and we're not just saying that so Alex doesn't embarrass Frank with his Best Man speech).
Bridesmaid
Sowmya and Sarah met in med school. Their veena/guitar jam sessions, (forced) study parties, friendsgivings, and friendship made those bleak years not only bearable, but a joy. She was Sarah's partner in crime through residency and though she has made it back to the West Coast, she will always remain the best friend a girl could ask for.
Groomsman
Simon is Frank's little brother from their Fraternity. Strong partner in giggles, I mean crime during college. Many ski trips were spent in Vermont and Colorado together. Simon moved to Southern Maryland after graduating where the antics continued. Simon is always happy, and perpetually scheming his next prank. Please encourage Simon to keep the tom-foolery at an appropriate level for the wedding!
Bridesmaid
Saghi and Sarah met in their hematology/oncology fellowship and became fast friends. She seamlessly joined our lives in Baltimore and was instantly beloved by our friends and family. She and her husband Pedram were our core COVID group and between the cocktails and Catan, there was not a dull moment. We feel so lucky she landed in Baltimore and that she will spend our wedding day with us.
Groomsman
Ryan and Frank first met each other at RPI's accepted students day before they both decided to attend. Many an afternoon had been spent with Frank and Ryan at Subway brainstorming how to make the world better through their engineering talents. Ryan has always been full of positivity and encouragement with an appropriate amount of realism thrown in. We couldn't be happier having Ryan by our side.
