When is the RSVP deadline?

The deadline to RSVP is April 15th! Given that this is a destination wedding, we would appreciate as much advance notice as possible.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invite and RSVP details will specify whether you have a plus one included. Additional plus ones will be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.

Can I stay at a different hotel and just join for the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

While we respect and value your personal choices for travel and accommodation, we strongly encourage all guests to consider staying with us at the Dreams Playa Mujeres resort for the duration of the wedding celebrations. Not only does it simplify logistics, but it ensures that you can fully immerse in the joy and fun of the event alongside us and the rest of the guests. Please be aware that if you choose to stay elsewhere, you will be responsible for arranging your own transportation to and from the resort. Additionally, to gain access to the Dreams Playa Mujeres resort for the wedding ceremony and reception, you will need to present a passport and pay a visitor's fee of $150 as per the resort's policies. Of course, we understand that every guest's circumstances and preferences are unique, and we respect your decision should you choose to arrange alternate accommodation. We are excited to celebrate this special day with you, regardless of where you choose to stay.

What are the benefits of booking our accommodations through the room block?

We are thrilled to have worked with our wedding coordinator to secure a room block for all our guests at the Dreams Playa Mujeres resort. The biggest advantage of using our room block is that it guarantees room availability at the resort before it sells out. Additionally, the price is fixed and will remain unaffected by demand fluctuations. It also guarantees that everyone is in the same location for the duration of the wedding festivities. Another key advantage to using our room block is the payment flexibility. You have the option to pay a deposit now and complete the rest of the payment until 3 months before the wedding, offering a "buy now, pay later" plan to ease any initial financial burden.

Where will you be hosting your wedding and what are the key features and amenities of the resort?

We're very exciting to host our wedding in September 2024 at Dreams Playa Mujeres, an all-inclusive resort! Are kids welcome to the ceremony or reception?

We kindly request that children under the age of 5 do not attend the ceremony or reception. This policy ensures a joyous and relaxed atmosphere for all our guests. Understanding any inconvenience this may cause, we offer assistance in arranging childcare during these times.

Are tuxedos required for the Black-Tie Optional dress code?

Answer

Tuxedos are optional and not required. Suits are preferred. 'Black tie optional' gives guests the choice of dressing in full formal attire or slightly more relaxed outfits. Men can opt for a full tuxedo or a classy suit while women can wear a formal evening gown or a formal floor length cocktail dress.

Where should I book my flights to?

Answer

We recommend guests book round trip flights to Cancun's international airport. The resort is around a 45 minute drive from the Cancun's airport.
