Matron of Honor
My favorite and only big sister. Growing up all we did was fight but as time has gone by we have developed the best bond. I couldn't do life without you or the cute babies you made. I look forward to growing old with you and Dakota and I can't wait to hang out with you and Ross as husband and wife- we are lucky to have you guys. Love you!
Maid of Honor
My baby sister. My volleyball loving cutie. The best workout partner I could ever ask for. One of my favorite memories with you was my senior year of high school. Christen was the only freshman on the varsity volleyball team and she was forced to spend her whole first volleyball season with me. Our family is lucky in that we all shared a love for volleyball. I couldn't do life without you Crust and I most certainly couldn't get married without you by my side. Can't wait to make you get your hair and makeup done- I know it is your favorite! Love you!
Bridesmaid
One of my high school besties. Teresa and I became friends in the 11th grade and have been excessively texting each other ever since. From hanging out in Laurel Creek, Justin Bieber concerts, living on her futon freshman year of college, Panama City, and Dominican Republic to living 15 hours hours apart, time has told our friendship never changes. I can't believe we ended up going into the same professions. We were meant to be. I look forward to a lifetime of more memories with you T and can't wait to have you by my side on my wedding day. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Bridesmaid
One of my high school best friends. She invited me to hangout in the 11th grade and hasn't been able to get rid of me since. Every time I came over to her house I would just walk in like I lived there. Her family treated me like their family. We are the weirdest people I know when we get together- have done so many ridiculous things in our lifetime. To name a few- our "drop it like it's hot" music video- which thankfully got deleted from Facebook when my Facebook got hacked or our late nights on Omegle. Our shenanigans were non-stop from high school through college. Even though we went different directions in life we never skip a beat when we are together. I think God placed us in different cities because he knows both of our husbands couldn't handle us together all the time. LOVE YOU.
Bridesmaid
My college bestie. It was love at our first chemistry exam. We were steadfast through the hard times and good times of college. From the 4am nights studying biochem to weekends hanging out at the Kappa sig house to studying until 11pm then sprinting over to Daddy's money- we always found a way to make it work and chase our dreams. She is literally the smartest person I know- I admire her more than she will ever know. Can't believe I convinced her to work at Good Pharmacy with me. Only a true friend would do that. We have lived far apart since college but we always pick up where we left off when we see each other and I wouldn't have it any other way. Couldn't have made it through college without you. Can't wait to have you by my side on my bid day- love you!
Bridesmaid
My college bestie. Cassie and I actually connected at orientation our freshman year of college. She flirted with my boyfriend at the time on Facebook so I really didn't like her much, lol. Once I got to know her I realized what a gem she was. I took her out for ice cream at Dairy Queen and the rest was history. I'm so glad we were able to make it through living in the same room sophomore year still friends. I thought she might kill me but she didn't, and that is when I knew she was in for the long haul. Even though she lives in the middle of no where she will always occupy a special place in my heart. I love her more than she knows! I promise to call you randomly for the rest of my life just to chat. We knew we were each other's bridesmaids long before our days came. Love you so much!
Bridesmaid
Amy and I became friends freshman year of college, lived a questionable year together as suite mates sophomore year, and have now been roommates in Charlotte for almost 3 years. From walking down scholars walk at 2am to living as two functioning adults in Charlotte today- I can say at times it has been the blind leading the blind but honey we have made it and I wouldn't have it any other way. I am glad Charlotte could bring us together again, Dakota and I can't wait to adopt you once we are married.
Bridesmaid
Claire and I met in PA school at Wingate. She is my favorite Nebraskan and the only Nebraskan I know (not sure if Nebraskan is a word, lol). From the stressful times studying to the weekends letting loose in Charlotte to our first big girl jobs as PAs- she has been there for me through it all. We went from spending our free time at Dandelion's on the weekends to going on walks and double dates with our boyfriends. Our friendship only gets better as time goes by. Dakota and I love hanging out with you Jay and we especially love the bonfire and s'mores nights. Those are the memories we will never forget. Thanks for being the best pal a gal could as for. LOVE YOU.
Bridesmaid
Megan and I first met at Winthrop. I can't remember exactly when or where but it was most likely in a science class or a soccer party. Megan is one of my most favorite people on the planet. She is the best influence- she loves Jesus and pushes me to grow my relationship with Christ regularly. She is brilliant, beautiful, and smart. She's always so supportive, genuine. She loves me even though I am terrible at communication. She is the definition of a good friend. No matter how much time passes between our long walks- our relationship never changes and that's the best thing about her. Everyone needs a Megan! I've imagined you standing by my side at my wedding for a long time. LOVE YOU!
Bridesmaid
Dakota's baby sister. Bless you for putting up with Dakota and loving him as you do. I am so thankful for the time we have gotten to know each other and am looking forward to the good times to come. Dakota and I are so excited to have you be a part of our big day and we wouldn't have it any other way. Love you!
Best Man
My pops! You have taught me so many life lessons, guidance, and wisdom I look back fondly on my childhood including the relationships and character traits that I learned through my martial arts training. I feel that our relationship has grown over the years and am excited to see how it continues to grow going into the next chapter of my life. I thank you for always being a supporter of mine and always encouraging me to learn from each experience that life has to offer. You always told me "show me who your friends are and I will show you who you are". I am blessed to say that my close friends including the other gentleman in the wedding party epitomize who I am and who strive to be in the future. Look forward to having you up with me on my big day.
Best Man
John and I met when he transferred to Belmont Abbey from Newberry College to play baseball for the Abbey. The first thing anyone that knows John would comment on is his charisma, innate energy, and ability to bring out the best in others. We forged a close friendship over three years of being teammates, including summer ball in New England, and that friendship precipitously grew upon our graduation from the Abbey. It was during our first year into adulthood that we became roommates living with our buddy Andrew Anderson. From getting lifts in at the AnderGym/the Dowd, to going out in Charlotte, or just taking it easy watching Ancient Aliens we were essentially inseparable and developed life long memories that I cherish to this day. I am blessed he will be up next to me on my Wedding day.
Groomsman
Forrest and I met the first week of college and we quickly became very close. We spent over five years as teammates, spanning both spring and summer seasons, living together for two years. The thing I admire about Forrest is his drive and ability to put himself in a position to be successful. After graduation we sold watches together at Movado while hanging out almost every weekend. My first year of PA school living in Wingate, I would sleep on his couch any chance I could to take a needed break from my studies. It was during that time that I first began dating SarahBeth and Forrest was a first hand witness to the development of our relationship. Fast forward to today, we have now lived together for another 3 years in adulthood and I love the big man and his stories as much as ever.
Groomsman
Caleb and I met playing ball together at the Abbey. We became close after my freshman year when we spent a summer playing ball and living together in Hickory. He graduated two years before me; we remained buddies but understandably our lives were in different phases at that point. We reconnected after my first year of PA school and lived together when I moved back to Charlotte for clinical rotations. Like any great friendship we picked up right where we left off. Today, we share something very important to both of us, our keeper fantasy baseball team. Although he no longer lives in the area we keep in touch nearly daily and are closer now than ever. Caleb and his lovely girlfriend Krista are dear to SarahBeth's and my hearts and we are blessed that they will be with us on our big day.
Groomsman
Justin also known to me as J-Swil or Swil-sauce has become one of my closest friends over the past 5 years. We both attended the Abbey and were actually in a sport management class together his freshman year but otherwise did not know each other well. I became more acquainted with Justin through Forrest when they both moved to Charlotte while I first began PA school at Wingate. This guy is one of the most kind and genuine people you can ever meet. He has unknowingly taught me so much about friendship and has given me so much perspective on life. He has been witness to the evolution of SarahBeth and my relationship and has had a front seat to our engagement including helping to organize this event. I look forward to many good times in the future and am blessed that our paths crossed again.
Groomsman
The man only needs to go by one name, Ditti. I love this man. He is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet. We first met on his third day on campus as a freshman when I was moving back in for my sophomore year. We became buds right away and would spend hours hitting in the cage, working out, studying in "club lib", playing Call of Duty, and hanging out. Time can go by where we are both busy and don't talk regularly and then next thing you know we spend 90 minutes on the phone together picking right up where we left off. I am so excited that he will be up next to me on my wedding day and I look forward to everyone getting to experience the Ditti-Bop on the dance floor.
Groomsman
The only people that call him Sean are his parents and his wife, to everyone else he is Duck or Ducky. Ducky is my probably my longest tenured adult friend as we met literally day 1 of college. As freshman we learned that the Abbey was what you made of it and for us that included lots of studying, baseball, lifting at the Y, video games, chat-roulette, Cookout runs, and Moe's Mondays. Duck lives in New Jersey these days and is recently married to the wonderful Liz. We don't see each other as much as either of us would probably like but the times we do we hit the ground running catching up and trash talking just like we would coming back to the Abbey from Summer break. I look forward to seeing him on SarahBeth's and my wedding weekend and feel blessed he will be apart of our day.
Groomsman
Rocco and I became good friends and boys at the Abbey playing ball. Rocco went through his hardships at the Abbey with injuries and I always admired how dedicated he was to his rehab and athletics which translated to his friendships outside of sports. Rocco lived John for two years and we would all hangout regularly. The unique thing about Rocco is that we shared numerous classes together at the Abbey as we were both biology majors; thus we experienced the same highs, lows, and sometimes general sense of confusion academically. Rocco is a genuine soul and is they type of friend that you hit the ground running with when you haven't seen in a while. I look forward to having him up next to me on the big day and bringing that "Taco" energy we all love.
Groomsman
My brother from another mother, literally. Eli and I met when I was 5 and he was 7/8 when his dad and my mother first began dating. Through the years I have always looked up to Eli. I have so many memories of us growing up ranging from playing in the treehouse, riding on your moped around the log cabin, playing Poke-mon or Zelda, playing basketball in the driveway, and watching "Jackass" on MTV while being nervous I would get in trouble for watching it b/c of the name (I did). I am so proud of you and all your accomplishments in life and look forward to you and Tyler being there on our wedding weekend.
Groomsman
I first met Josh when SarahBeth and I first began dating. If the last name doesn't give it away, he is SarahBeth's younger brother. It has been amazing to see you grow from a high school sophomore to a college graduate. I look fondly on the times when you and SarahBeth lived together with Amy during your first year at Queens as I was able to get to know you better. I have always been amazed with your work ethic and tenacity in pursing your goals. SarahBeth and I both love you dearly and are happy that you will be apart of our big day.
