The attire for the ceremony and reception is cocktail. We encourage suits and spring/summer dresses.
No, we do not have a registry. The most important thing to us is that you’re able to celebrate with us on our wedding day! Should you wish to give a gift as well, a cash gift to put towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.
Our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. If you are looking for childcare services, The Bowery Hotel, where the ceremony and reception will be held, offers in-room babysitting through a company called Baby Sitter's Guild (https://www.babysittersguild.com/). To book these services please reach out to reservations@bohonyc.com with your reservation number. Pricing: $60 per hour with 4 hour minimum + $45 for transportation. The Standard Hotel, where our room block is, does not offer childcare services. If you're staying here or any other hotel without childcare services, you can reach out to Baby Sitter's Guild to inquire about hotel services. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.
No, transportation will not be provided to the venue, as the recommended hotels are a short walk away. If you choose to stay elsewhere in the city, we recommend traveling by Uber, Lyft, or a taxi.
No, guests will order their main course at the seated dinner. We will have vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten-free food options available. If you have additional dietary restrictions we should be aware of, please email us at sarahavi2024@gmail.com so we can be sure to accommodate.
Our events will mostly take place indoors. The welcome drinks will have the option to enjoy a roof deck, and the cocktail hour following our wedding ceremony will take place on a terrace. In the event of inclement weather, both events will be inside with no change in location.
