MaKenna and Sarah met during their first semester at Doane University. They were in the same classes, ensembles, and even joined the same sorority. MaKenna and Sarah lived together for 2 years and have been inseparable since the day they met. Fun fact about MaKenna is that she was born on leap day!
Corbin Hubbell

Corbin and Austin met during their freshman year at Doane University in a Political Science class in 2016. They soon became fraternity brothers in Alpha Pi Epsilon and have been roommates twice since then. Corbin can make anyone in the room laugh with his quick wit and is always up for a good round of golf — name the course, and he'll be there!

Sarah and Tayma met when Sarah joined Chi Delta sorority at Doane University. They have spent years matching each other in joy, empathy, and pirate stories. Fun fact about Tayma is that she is a devoted dog mama! 🐾
Cody Redford

Cody and Austin met at Doane University at the beginning of Austin’s freshman year. Cody was involved in Doane’s Newman Club – Catholic Campus Ministries. When the opportunity arose for all new freshmen to meet with the club and walk to church together, they met and chatted the entire way. They quickly formed a strong friendship, became fraternity brothers in Alpha Pi Epsilon, took many Social Science Education and History classes together, and eventually became roommates in Hansen 207. Austin was part of the Redford wedding and is even the godfather of Cody’s son, Liam.

Noa and Sarah met when they both pledged Chi Delta sorority in the same year. Through college they became very close and even started “Garth Nation” (prestigious club at Doane University). The two became a dynamic duo who have shared lots of laughs and memories together.
Odin Velasco
Groomsman
Odin and Austin met in 2017 and have been great friends ever since. Their friendship really took off in 2020 when Odin purchased his OV Excavation and Services shop in Shelby, NE, which he was completely renovating for his new LLC. Austin offered to help out on a few weekends—and the rest is history! Since then, the two regularly make trips north to Norfolk and south to Shelby to hang out and tackle random projects—usually involving Pumba. Without Odin, Austin might have been walking instead of driving his 2004 Jeep.
Kristin Graven

Kristin and Sarah have known each other since birth! They are cousins on Sarah’s mom’s side of the family. Kristin and Sarah have grown up together playing pranks on our siblings, running the card table at Grandma’s house, and singing Taylor Swift lyrics with our whole chest!
Tanner Weekly

Tanner and Austin met at Doane University in 2018. Tanner was involved in many Social Science and History classes, just like Austin. One of the most memorable was their Native American History class, where they wrote some very long papers together. This Wyoming native has taken Austin on some great adventures, showing him around his home state. Austin even flew out to Washington, D.C., to visit Tanner while he was working at the Capitol for a Wyoming senator—and Tanner treated him to an unforgettable experience. Austin was also part of the Weekly wedding!
Tori Mannel

Tori and Sarah met when Tori came to Doane University. They quickly realized that they were twin flames! Tori joined Chi Delta sorority and the two became sisters (for real). They have shared many story times, outfit ideas, and laughs. Legend has it that if you close your eyes when the two speak, you can’t tell which is which. 🙈🤷🏼♀️
Jacob Cole

Jacob and Austin met in elementary school and became best friends in high school at Bancroft-Rosalie. They played football together and even co-created and hosted B-R’s first live-streamed basketball game, complete with commentary. Growing up, they often drove together to Sioux City for movies and fun. After high school, they both pursued careers in education and now enjoy getting together for new cuisine and great conversations!
Allison Moscaritolo-Baird

Allison and Sarah met when Sarah came to Doane University. Very quickly, the two realized they shared the same love for scrunchies, singing, and spray tans. Their friendship has blossomed into adulthood and has carried through many life changes. Allison has always been a pillar of support and knowledge. Fun fact: Sarah was a bridesmaid in Allison’s wedding last September!
Matthew Wilkinson

Matt and Austin met at Doane University in 2016 through the Tiger Pep Band. They became fraternity brothers in Alpha Pi Epsilon and roommates in Hansen 207. They took many education classes together and became very close friends, especially during their travel adventures, including a trip to Canada! Austin was also part of Matt’s wedding this May. Matt’s infectious laugh and personality draw people in, always leading to great stories!
Samuel Daly

Samuel and Austin actually met years before Sarah and Austin started dating, when Samuel came to Doane as a guest for the Pep Band invitation. They quickly developed a friendship once Austin and Sarah began dating. Samuel is a competitive Bulldogger on his college rodeo team at Pratt Community College in Kansas, where he will graduate this spring. Samuel is also known for not enjoying losing at the annual Pitch game at Christmas.
Waylan Bellamy

Waylan and Austin met in 2018 when Josi introduced them before Wurst Tag in Eustis, NE. Waylan was wearing an iconic lederhosen at the time. Waylan is Austin’s brother-in-law and has taught him many things over the years, sharing plenty of laughs along the way— including hog butchering, concrete removal in the hot sun, and tanking on the river.

Derek and Austin met in 2021 when Derek and his wife, Hannah, first started dating. They quickly became great friends and grew even closer after many trips to hang out at Odin and Watson's place in Shelby, NE. One of Derek’s best qualities is his ability to approach anyone and find something in common to genuinely chat about. He’s the life of the party and makes sure everyone is having a good time. Derek is also tall, which definitely comes in handy in crowds. Austin was also fortunate enough to be an usher in Derek and Hannah's wedding!
Jackson Logan

Jackson and Austin met in 2020 as mutual friends of Odin while helping him with his shop rebuild. They hung out every time Austin visited Shelby, building a bond that led to many adventures, including a birthday trip to Nashville for Jackson! He survived his first flight sitting between Austin and Sarah, being soothed by Desperate Housewives on Sarah’s phone.

Josi is Austin's older sister. Sarah and Josi became friends when Sarah lived in Cozad and spent lots of time on their farm.

Sophie is Sarah’s younger sister. She will be a freshman in high school this coming Fall. Sophie enjoys watching Law & Order: SVU, taking trips to Sephora, and singing!

Liam is the son of Cody and Kaylee Redford. He will be 5 years old the day after the wedding! Austin is lucky enough to be Liam's Godfather! He is a big fan of trains and RECYCLING trucks!

James Joseph is Austin and Sarah's nephew! He'll be almost 7 months old for the wedding! He shares the same middle name as his uncle Austin, grandpa Kevin, and great grandpa Putz!

Selah is Sarah’s youngest sister. She will be starting 6th grade in the Fall. Selah enjoys putting together Lego sets, playing basketball, and watching movies with her sister, Sarah.
