Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Wine Country Semi-Formal (dressy but comfortable). Think dresses, jumpsuits, button-downs, sport coats.

Question

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors at the winery, followed by an indoor/outdoor reception.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

September in Oregon is typically warm (70s–80s during the day) with cool evenings. Bring a light jacket or wrap for after sunset.

Question

Is transportation or parking available?

Answer

On-site parking is available at the winery. Just a heads up that ride share services (Uber/Lyft) can be scarce in the area, so we recommend planning your transportation in advance.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Our guest list is limited, so we can only accommodate those specifically named on the RSVP.

Question

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

Winery terrain includes grass and gravel. Comfortable, stable shoes or block heels are recommended.

Question

Are there hotels or lodging nearby?

Answer

There are great options in Carlton, Yamhill, and McMinnville (10 minutes away). We recommend booking early—September is peak wine season.

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know when you RSVP, and we will accommodate all allergies/needs.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15–30 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for parking and seating.

Question

What is there to do in the area?

Answer

Carlton and the surrounding Willamette Valley offer wineries, charming small towns, hiking, and great food. See our "Things to Do" page!
