The crown jewel of downtown Greenville, with the falls, the Liberty Bridge, and beautiful green space in the heart of downtown. Also connects to the Swamp Rabbit trail for a longer walk or bike ride.
Located in West Greenville closer to the wedding venue, Unity Park is a newer addition to downtown Greenville. Large park with plenty of open green space and walking trails along the river. Several fun food and drink spots are right on the park too, including The Commons food hall, several breweries, and a pickleball park.
One of our favorite spots for date night. Small plates dining with great cocktails and wine. Fun fact, the Table 301 restaurant group is also catering our wedding. Reservations highly recommended.
Sarah's favorite restaurant in Greenville. Modern Italian in a fun atmosphere. Reservations highly recommended.
Casual spot that offers both tacos and sushi. What more could you ask for?
Casual spot for burgers, fries, milkshakes, and similar cuisine. If you don't eat regular burgers like Sarah (weirdo), the black bean burger is quite good!
If you're looking for a fun way to spend the afternoon, Group Therapy offers indoor mini golf, ax throwing, and a bunch of other bar games right in the heart of downtown Greenville. Also offers pub food and drinks.
If you're looking for a place to watch football before the wedding, Yeehaw is our recommendation. Large lawn area with outdoor screen, weather permitting. Also offers craft beer and pub food.
Food hall in Unity Park that offers something for everyone. Lots of seating both inside and outside along the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
Outdoor food hall with tons of different food and drink stalls made out of refurbished shipping containers. Weather permitting, a great place to spend an afternoon.
Our favorite cocktail bar in Greenville, located in West Greenville close to the venue. We went on one of our first dates here and have been back many times. Unique vibe with an Alice in Wonderland theme. We love sitting outside by the fire pit and people watching.
We went on our first date here! Rooftop wine bar that will be lovely to enjoy if it's a nice fall day.
If you're looking for a spot to grab a good cocktail right on Main Street, this is it. We come here often before Peace Center shows since it's right across the street.
If you're up for a drive, we couldn't leave Southern Growl in Greer off the list. Zach and friends have been going to Southern Growl since it opened, and Zach's friend Josh is an Advanced Cicerone with the brewery (it means he knows A LOT about beer). Head about 20 minutes outside of downtown for an extensive list of their craft beer and the best brewery food you'll ever have.
If you're up for a drive in the opposite direction, head about 15 minutes outside of downtown to Bridgeway Station, in Mauldin right around the corner from where Sarah and Zach live. Designed in the architectural style of an Italian Piazza, you'll find a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops to explore.
