Things To Do

We had the best time exploring the Amalfi Coast when we were touring wedding venues. We included some of our favorite cities we visited and some of our recommendations for hotels, restaurants, and things to do. We hope this helps if you plan to explore the Amalfi Coast!
Sant'Agata sui Sue Golfi

Sant'Agata sui Sue Golfi

Corso Sant'Agata 32, Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, Massa Lubrense, Italy

Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi is the cute small town of our wedding venue. The town is completely walkable and is filled with charm. The local SITA bus runs regularly from Sant Agata to Sorrento and also to the Amalfi Coast. We had a wonderful dinner at Rosticceria da Mimi while visiting. Restaurant Recommendations: - Rosticceria da Mimi - Bar Orlando - Lo Stuzzichino: Michelin Bib Gourmand - Don Alfonso: 2 Stars Michelin Bar Recommendations - Tutt'appost (Wine bar) - Racy (Amazing speciality coffees in the morning and cocktails at night! )

Sorrento

Sorrento

Sorrento, Campania 80067, Italy

Sorrento is the closest city to the wedding venue and is a 20 minute drive or bus ride. We stayed at Villa Silvana in Sorrento which has incredible views of the Gulf of Naples. We had a fabulous lunch at La Cantinaccia del Popolo and had a nice dinner at ristorante tasso. There are so many good restaurants in Sorrento to choose from.

Positano

Positano

Positano, Campania 84017, Italy

We took the ferry from Sorrento to Positano which takes approximately 45 minutes and spent the day exploring. We had a beautiful lunch at Le Petit Murat. Positano is known for some of their wild and beautiful beach clubs. La Talgiata is a very entertaining and engaging cooking class that is highly rated online -- make sure to book in advance if interested because they book up fast.

Ravello

Ravello

Ravello, Campania 84010, Italy

We took the ferry from Sorrento to Amalfi, which had a stop in Positano that took in total approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. We then took the bus from Amalfi up to Ravello, which takes approximately 25 minutes. Ravello is home to iconic cliffside gardens and is set 365 meters above the Tyrrhenian Sea by Italy’s Amalfi Coast. Ravello has stunning hand-made ceramics! We bought some amazing ceramic pieces at Pasqual and Cosmolena. We stayed at Hotel Da Salvatore which has breathtaking views of the bay. We had drinks at the Villa Cimbrone Gardens and had dinner at Hotel Villa Maria.

Capri

Capri

Capri, Campania 80076, Italy

We took a ferry from Ravello to Capri which took approximately 1 hour, but from Sorrento, the ferry takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Capri is an incredible island in Italy’s Bay of Naples, and is famed for its rugged landscape, upscale hotels and shopping, from designer fashions to limoncello and handmade leather sandals. We stayed at Hotel La Floridiana, which is in the heart of Capri and is only a few minute walk to the Gardens of Augustus and the main streets of the famous Piazzetta. We ate dinner at Ristorante Pulalli, which has a panoramic terrace with a stunning view over the famed Piazzetta and the Bay of Naples.
