We're getting married!

We met during a workplace dynamics course our freshman year of high school. Yuriy introduced himself to the cute new girl in his grade with a lot of eye contact, an eager smile, and a firm handshake. Sarah laughed. Yuriy then became impressed with Sarah's athleticism and kickball skills, highly sought after in high school gym class. The two shared English class all 4 years and especially bonded over laughter during their senior year's AP Literature class. After a class project and a break for undeniably good Mexican food, Yuriy and Sarah began attending school events together and realized everything was better when they were by each other's side. It was a relationship that was supposed to be just a summer's romance before college, but both Sarah and Yuriy realized they did not want it to end.

Yuriy and Sarah were getting away for an adventurous and relaxing weekend in New Hampshire. They had just enjoyed a delicious dinner when Yuriy suggested they watch the sunset over the mountains in a field nearby. Just as the sunset allows us to reflect on what was good that happened that day, and to think of the good things to come tomorrow, Yuriy spoke of what he was thankful for and what he was looking forward to in life. He asked Sarah to marry him and of course she said YES!
