Matron of Honor
Heather has literally been my best friend as far back as I can remember. We are more like sisters; we have laughed, we have cried, we have laughed until we've cried, we have fought, and we have literally grown up together. There is so much I can say about her and so many stories I could tell but let's just say she is the strongest, most resilient woman I have ever known. We met in the 4th and 5th grade at horse-back riding camp and began hanging out more and more as we started to take lessons together. From then on we were best friends. From mattress rides, to horse-back riding, to basketball, to a myriad of adventures we were pretty much inseparable. I am so honored to have her standing by my side!
Maid of Honor
Jessie has been one of my closest friends for almost 8 years. We started as rivals in college. She played volleyball at the University of Alabama- Huntsville, which was one of our biggest rivals in conference. We didn't know each other then and 'hated' one another from hearing about the other on the 'scouting report'. After I graduated I started going to Huntsville to play in sand tournaments where I met Jessie and loved her fun-loving, free spirit. We have been friends ever since. Our relationship consists mostly of me invading her personal space to try and get on her nerves :P and her just saying "Sarah..." and pushing me away. 8 years later we are still playing with and against each other, traveling together, laughing together, and creating mischief everywhere we go!
Maid of Honor
Kelly and I met through a mutual friend almost 4 years ago. You could say we met on a "Blind Volleyball Date". Our friend set us up to play in the Tybee Island EVP tournament together and we immediately hit it off and have been Beach/Soul partners ever since. For the past 4 years we have traveled all over the country competing in beach volleyball tournaments together and I have enjoyed every minute of it. We played in our first AVP event together, competed in our first AVP Main Draw together, and won our fair share of tournaments ;) She is not only my beach partner but one of my best friends. She is such a caring and loyal person and I am lucky to have her as my partner and friend!
Bridesmaid
Although I have to look past her being a Florida Gator, she is still one of my best friends. ;) We were roomies for over a year in Atlanta and have had so many adventures together! I love our annual TN-FL football game tradition, line dancing, making galaxy shoes, and playing volleyball with this girl! Whenever I need some girly girl advice I always as E-Erin! She's my little beauty queen! Literally... she competes in Miss Georgia pageants and is such a strong motivated woman! I can't wait to see what this year has in store for us!
Bridesmaid
Jenn is the ultimate hype man! She is always full of so much spirit and excitement. We, of course, met through playing volleyball. I remember the first tournament we played against each other she kept telling me all day, "Sarah, I'm gonna need you to hit someone in the face!" and that has never changed! We still play and I think every game that's her motivating line to me and I love it! :) We have had so many adventures and funny times I can't even describe them all. From our Fuds adventures, to playing TITS together, to smashing her butter sets, Jenn is such a great friend to everyone! I'm so lucky to have her as a friend!
Bridesmaid
Brigid and I have been friends for over 10 years now! We met in college and immediately became inseparable partners in crime! We played volleyball together at the University of North Alabama and have always had each other's backs through thick and thin. There are so many moments that I could reminisce on but going out dancing will always be my favorite memories! We are both so competitive and are BP partners for life! Thanks for all your wedding advice! :)
Bridesmaid
I love Ashley's free, uplifting spirit, she has always inspired me to be a better person. I remember the first day we met, Tuba and I were playing in a volleyball tournament together and when they picked me up Ashley had a PSL in hand for me! I knew from that moment on, we were gonna be the best of friends! Ashley and her husband Tuba have helped mentor Wes and I in so many ways. We have had so many adventures together already, from cruising, to boating, to beach days, to pedicabs, to birthday parties, and get togethers at your house, I am so glad we have become such close friends! And I love your babies to the moon and back! :)
Bridesmaid
Laura Emel Coe. We have been friends for so long, I can't even remember when we became friends. From playing MMS basketball team, to the Tennessee Tornadoes, to MHS volleyball, to all our non-sports related adventures, there are too many to count! I still remember camping out on MHS senior day and then going to the lake with your family and the beach and always getting into mischief! I am so lucky to have always had you by my side! I love you and your little boys!
Best Man
In Wes's words: "Jake is the best brother anyone could have. I can always count on Jakester, all I have to do is call him. I'm glad he's family"
Father of the Groom/Groomsman
My dad has always been there for me no matter what. He's had a guiding hand throughout all my endeavors. Guiding me and cheering me on. He is the epitome of the word 'father'.
Groomsman
Jamie was my teammate at the University of North Alabama. He always had my back on and off the field. Especially on the field, he kept me from getting killed by all our opponents. I spent almost everyday at his house in college. Even to this day, we stay in touch and always pick up right where we left off.
Groomsman
I met Tuba through Sarah and he and his family have been such great friends and role models for us ever since. He is such a great example and someone I can turn to for advice. He is about as good a person as it gets. He couldn't get rid of us if he tried.
Groomsman
Josh and I have been friends since middle school. He was my high school quarterback and throughout high school I practically lived at his house, they were like a second family to me. We have stayed in touch over the years and he's a 'salt of the Earth kinda guy' and I know I can always count on him.
Groomsman
Let me start by saying, his actual name is 'Thor,' so that should explain quite a bit. If I'm looking for a good time, Thor is definitely the life of the party. Some of my best stories from college are stories with Thor. But, in all seriousness, I know that if I am ever in a sticky situation, Thor will have my back, no questions asked.
Groomsman
Reed is my youngest sibling. He was born when I was 17 years old. Although there is such a big age gap, I would do anything for him and I am so excited to have him in my wedding party. Too bad he can't come to the bachelor party.
Father of the Bride
My good ol' Daddy-o. I mean what can I say about my Dad, he's my dad and the best one at that! My mom has always said that I'm a daddy's girl and she's probably right. My dad and I have both always been really good at giving each other a hard time. He's always been there for me with no judgment and only support. He has been my emotional support and biggest cheerleader (equal to my mom, of course ;))
Mother of the Bride
I mean what can I say about my mom. She is my biggest supporter and would literally drop everything and travel hundreds of miles to help me at a moment's notice. Trust me, she's done it! She has literally helped me move across the country and helped me move so many times I can't even count. I am so lucky to have such a caring, supportive, and understanding mother!
Mother of the Groom
She’s the toughest lady I know. She’s raised 4 kids and she’s do anything in the world for any of them. A guy could ask for a better mom.
