Should I procrastinate when booking travel and accommodations?

Answer

Please do not! The most convenient places to stay for this celebration will be property rentals in the Idaho Springs area and they are limited, especially during wedding season. The Origins Hotel Red Rocks or options in Golden, Colorado provided on the Travel Page are also great options. We recommend booking your accommodations as soon as practicable. Please feel free to reach out to us with questions.

Can I catch an Uber or Lyft to and from the venue?

Answer

Idaho Springs is a mountain town and there are not typically Ubers or Lyfts available or willing to drive in this area. Also, cell phone service is very limited at the venue so we recommend driving yourself and planning to carpool. There is ample parking at the venue and we may be orchestrating a shuttle with more information to come on the invitation.

Do I have a plus one?

If your invitation indicates a plus one, please feel free to bring a guest. If it does not, we'd prefer it was just you!

This is an adults-only celebration.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is ample parking onsite. Guests are free to drive themselves to and from the event and stay for all or part of the festivities.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, jackets and slacks.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The end of summer into early fall in Colorado should be gorgeous but can also be unpredictable. The wedding is outdoors with an indoor-outdoor reception so bring a jacket and plan to layer as the night goes on.

Are the ceremony and reception in the same location?

Answer

Yes. All events for the night will be held at Blackstone Rivers Ranch and we have access to the entire property.

When does After Hours end?

Answer

The after-party is at the Vintage Moose bar in Idaho Springs and is open to anyone who wants to keep the night going. The bar closes at 2 AM and we will plan to be partying until 1AM. Please keep in mind your transportation plan if you intend to join in on this portion of the night.

What do I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know well in advance. We can accommodate, but must let our caterers know early! As it stands, we will have limited vegan options.
