FAQs
Question

Should we bring gifts?

Answer

Nope! Having you celebrate with us is the greatest gift of all! Your love, laughter, and support mean everything as we begin this new chapter together. If you wish to give a gift, a contribution toward building our future would be truly appreciated, but please know that your presence is what matters most to us.

Question

I found a cheaper package online. Can I book that instead?

Answer

You’re welcome to, but most online deals (i.e Expedia) don’t include everything our group package does. Our $3,000 per person rate covers transfers to Ocho Rios, checked bag and carry-on, taxes and fees, rooms held together, and support if anything changes. Cheaper options often leave out transfers or luggage, which can add $200–$400 per person. Booking outside our group may also create extra fees or stress coordinating access to wedding events, and you will forfeit the $250 deposit you initially put down for our group rate. Our package keeps everything simple and stress-free for everyone.

Question

How do I book my travel arrangements?

Answer

To make things easy, we have a link under the Travel section on our website where you can book your hotel room and flights within our reserved block. This ensures you get the best rates and can celebrate with us hassle-free! (This does NOT mean you cannot book outside our group package!)

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Our big day will be at the stunning Moon Palace Jamaica in Ocho Rios! Think turquoise waters, swaying palms, and all-inclusive luxury!

Question

Do I need a passport to travel to Jamaica?

Answer

Yes, a valid passport is required for all travellers entering Jamaica. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned stay.

Question

Can we fly out of a different airport other than Toronto?

Answer

Yes! Please feel free to reach out to our Wedding Travel Agent - Shormita Gupta. She can focus on getting that all sorted it out. Check our Travel section of our website for all the info you need!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a block of rooms reserved at Moon Palace Jamaica, and we’d love for you to stay with us! You can book your hotel stay and flights through the link located in the Travel section of our website for exclusive rates and easy planning.

Question

What’s the best way to get there?

Answer

Fly into Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay. From there, it’s about a 90-minute scenic drive to the resort. Private transfers and shuttles are included in the package price to make your trip smooth and stress-free.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Pack your favorite beach-chic outfits! Think light, breezy fabrics for the daytime, and dressy resort wear for the evenings. Oh, and don’t forget your swimsuit—you’ll practically live in it!

Question

Is this a family friendly all-inclusive resort?

Answer

Yes! Children are welcome. Your stay at Moon Palace includes unlimited food, drinks (yes, cocktails too! ), entertainment, and activities all in one place! So eat, drink, and soak up every moment with your family.

Question

What fun things can we do at the resort?

Answer

Besides lounging by the pool with a tropical drink in hand, you can enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, a world-class spa, live entertainment, and even a FlowRider® surf simulator plus many kid friendly options!

Question

What kinds of food will be available at the resort?

Answer

Moon Palace Jamaica offers a variety of international cuisine through multiple restaurants. From Jamaican delicacies to Italian, Asian, and American options, there’s something for everyone. Enjoy buffet-style meals, à la carte dining, and room service. With over 9 restaurants to choose from, you’ll experience an incredible range of flavours!

Question

How do I know which excursions will be available?

Answer

The full itinerary, including details about excursions, will be provided to you upon arrival. Please find some of our favourite spots on our "Things To Do" section on our website! We like to keep the surprise factor and make sure you get the best options based on current conditions!
