When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please submit all RSVPs by June 10th, 2026. Our venue requires us to give our final headcount 30 days prior to the wedding.

What airport is closest to Madison, NC?

Answer

Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO / KGSO). This airport is in Greensboro, North Carolina and is approximately 28-34 minutes from Madison, NC.

What are the local accommodations like?

Answer

Madison, NC is a rather small town. There are plentiful Air B&B options in town and in the surrounding areas. I have listed several hotels on the travel page for your convenience.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4 p.m. If you arrive late, the Bridal party may give you the "look". Trust me, you don't want the look. (If your lateness was due to emergency or something beyond your control, don't fret, just show up when/if you can.)

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be indoors! We may take some photos outside, but otherwise, everything will be indoors.

What should I wear?

Answer

We ask that you do not wear white out of respect for the bride. Things that are heavily patterned (e.g. florals, stripes) are perfectly acceptable! The dress code is semi-formal to as formal as you would like! We ask that you wear whatever makes you feel best. If you can wear it to church on Christmas or Easter Sunday, it would probably work for our wedding. If you are unsure about anything related to attire, feel free to message the bride or groom.

How close are the ceremony and reception, distance-wise?

They are in the same building! The staff at Bakery 1818 will handle set-up between the ceremony and reception.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Please contact us if you have a plus-one (e.g. long-term partner) who you would like to bring with you.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We will not be providing childcare for the ceremony/reception. If you would like to bring young children, please contact the bride or groom. Well-behaved children 10+ are welcome as long as they are included in your RSVP count.

What colors should I avoid wearing?

Answer

Other than the obvious (bridal outfit in white/off-white, bridal gown), all colors are welcome. Our color palette is based off of shades from a sunrise. If you want to wear those, you are welcome to!

Will there be alcohol served?

Answer

Yes. There will be beer, wine, and a champagne toast. If you would like a non-alcoholic drink for the champagne toast, please let us know and we will accommodate you. We will also have alcoholic and non-alcoholic slushies, since y'all will be missing out on free 7/11 slurpees.
