We’re getting married!

We met while working at Dick's Sporting Goods, I was a cashier and he worked in Team Sports. We both had a love for sports and became instant friends. We would hope that each shift we would work together, or even hope to have our shifts overlap so we would be able to say “hi” to each other. One day he asked to play “M.A.S.H” and yes, the game ended with us getting married, having 4 kids, living in a house. It was then a week later he asked me to go on one “Tyler Perri Date” just one “Tyler Perri date” and that's all I needed. And it turns out that's all I needed...

After countless secret meetings Tyler was orchestrating with my dad, it was the day before Christmas Eve when my dad brought all of my siblings together and said he was going to sell his plane. A plane that meant so much to him. He told us that because him and my mom would not be using the plane in the future it was time he sold it. He gave me a brochure of the man who would be buying the plan and how much he would be selling it for. My dad’s only request was for one last family picture in front of his plane. So Christmas Eve afternoon came, and of course I was upset. I couldn’t believe my dad wanted to sell his plane. but I knew this is what he wanted. My dad wanted to stop at Wendy’s before we took the picture ( little did I know Tyler was in the hanger since 8:00 am). We get to the hanger and my dad tells me to open the hanger. As I open the hanger I see Tyler in his suit as Ed Sheeran “Thinking Out Loud” begins to play and I scream at the top of my lungs “Tyler! What are you doing here!?” My initial thought was he was here to take our family picture! I was so confused on why he was dressed up and had no idea what was happening. I turn to my family and they were all recoding us, still not having a clue about what the next minute was going to include. Tyler got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Tyler had come up with the brilliant plan for the perfect most beautiful proposal. A proposal that allowed me to share this wonderful moment and feeling with my mom. A proposal that I will alway cherish and cry everything I rewatch the video. .... and no my dad didn’t sell the plane.
