RENTAL CAR: Wellfleet is a 2-1/2 hour drive from the Boston & Providence airports. It'd be challenging to not have a car in Wellfleet, so we recommend a rental or carpooling. Plan for traffic Friday afternoon & Sunday mid-day. FERRY: From Boston, you can take a "fast ferry" - this is for people only and does NOT transport cars. It takes 1-1/2 hours to go from Boston to Provincetown and upon arrival, you can get picked up by a friend (Provincetown is a 20min drive from Wellfleet). From Boston's airport, take the Silver Line bus to the World Trade Center stop and catch a Bay State Cruise ferry to Provincetown. You need to purchase a ticket and make a reservation for the ferry ride. BUS: There are P-B and Peter Pan buses from Boston airport that go to Hyannis, MA. Once in Hyannis, you can switch to a Peter Pan bus to Wellfleet or get picked up by a friend. Hyannis is a 45-minute drive from Wellfleet. We are happy to answer any questions about travel that you have - send us an email!
