With a simple background check at main entrance, you are welcome to visit the world's largest military base (by population). On base there are two main museums to visit: 82nd Airborne Division War Memorial Museum & Airborne Airpark. Please visit the website for more info on times and admissions.
Located right at the heart of downtown, this museum is an easy access and takes maybe around 30 minutes to tour. About 5 minutes from venue.

We've visited many times, since wedding is in spring and we live in a warmer climate, flowering may be beginning at the time of your visit. Admission is a bit pricey, but all proceeds go to preservation of the gardens.
Great for wine tastings and the cutest little souvenir shop!
This is our beach hotspot, although it may be a bit chilly because of the time of year, it is close to Calabash, NC and the nearest in distance from us to the coast!
