Matron of Honor
Meg and I met my senior year at Purdue and have been besties since! We instantly bonded over many long nights at Harry's and Brothers bar while I not so secretly played match maker for her and her husband. Meg is a momma to my goddaughter (and flower girl) Amelia and wife to Nic (Skinny). Although the majority of our friendship has been long-distance we don't let a week go by without face-timing. I can't imagine going through this day without her by my side and feel truly blessed to have such a kind, beautiful soul next to me on this big day. She is the Biggie to my Smalls...no really...Meg is super tall.
Best Man
CK and I first met in Mr. Markese's geometry class back in '08 where I was at the top of our class and he was but a close 2nd, though he'll never admit it. We've only known each other for a mere decade and a half, but I consider him to be one of my dearest associates. We shared a living space for over two years where our associateship blossomed into a full blown acquaintanceship. In all seriousness, aside from the bride herself, CK is probably the person that knows and understands me best. He's the brother I never had, the financial advisor I never asked for, and a person I'm deeply humbled to call my best friend - and now my Bestest Mensch.
Officiant
Kara and I became close friends in high school (although our families have known each other forever) and she is one of the few people who know me best. She is my go to for advice, an honest opinion, and a good heart to heart. Kara is one of the most genuine, intelligent, and real people I've ever met and is someone I can always count on no matter what. Kara has been so supportive of both Tran and I and our future together and I can't imagine anyone better to officiate our wedding!
Officiant
Then there's this guy. What can I say? We honestly just needed bodies. (Kidding!) I've known Michal since high school. He started out as that annoying kid in Spanish class. He eventually worked his way up to being the eclectically funny guy at track practice. With his whit and terrible puns, he won me over and became one of my best friends. And now, he'll be an officiant at my wedding. He is one of the few people that understands me at my core. He is a trustworthy and loyal friend, never afraid to speak his mind - however crazy his thoughts may be. And despite being notoriously considered as a "wildcard", I couldn't imagine anyone more fit to marry Sarah and I.
Flower Child
Matilda (Tilly) Oberman is 5 years old and full of energy. She is the most expressive, enthusiastic, and sassy little girl. You will find her being the life of the party and posing for photos!
Flower Child
Penelope (Penny) Oberman is 3 years old and the sister of Matilda. Penny may take some time to warm up but once she does she is the most expressive, goofy, and giggly little girl. Penny will most likely be found clinging to her mommy and daddy.
Flower Child
Evelyn (Evie) is 2 years old and is inquisitive and kind-hearted. Her smile lights up the room and she is sure to steal the show with her big blue eyes.
Flower Child
Amelia is 3 years old and is fearless and independent like her mom! Amelia loves playing doctor, being a big sister, and her dog Mia.
