Downtown Historic Kennett Square
Kennett Square (Sarah's hometown) has a quaint historic main street with cafes, restaurants, bars and boutiques. Some of our favorites are below: La Michoacana- Local homemade ice cream shop featuring delicious unique flavors with puerto rican roots. Some favorite flavors are Corn, Brownie, Mamey Hank’s Place- Classic local diner great for breakfast or lunch Philter Coffee - Coffee shop with light breakfast fare Grain- Restaurant and bar with rooftop area off of mainstreet with panoramic views of town Trattoria La Tavola - Authentic Italian restaurant off of main street Sovana Bistro- Upscale modern italian restaurant outside of town local favorite for their unique gourmet pizzas! The Creamery
Historic creamery renovated into an Indoor/Outdoor gathering space and beer garden serving food and drinks in a casual atmosphere with games and live music. Great for all ages and a local favorite for a summer night.
Old City
If you'd like a little history during your visit, Old City Philadelphia is 15 min away from the airport and a 35-40 min drive from our accommodations. While in Old City you can find Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, and beautiful cobblestone streets lined with historic homes.
