TJ and Sarah lived one town away from each other growing up and attended the same high school. Back when they were teenagers neither of them would have thought more than 10 years later the universe would conspire to create an everlasting love story. In 2015 TJ took a chance on a girl he hadn't seen since 2004 and sent a message to her after briefly speaking with her Grandfather (Pop 2E). TJ was playing in Camden and happened to have an off day when he went with his Dad to the American Legion in Aston. After speaking with what he thought was a stranger who knew his dad and knew of his career playing baseball, a connection was put together when the older gentleman introduced himself with his full name. TJ recognizing the last name Pop quickly started to talk about his favorite thing, his granddaughters. TJ quickly remembered being in Sun Valley and often seeing Sarah as a senior when he was a sophomore. After a few questions about Sarah and mentioning he always had a crush on her, Pop replied with "well she is currently in between boyfriends, you should send her a message." If only it was that simple... Sarah was in the midst of new things, a new job and a new love of exploring the city of Philadelphia. During a night out in the city with friends she heard the name TJ Chism for the first time since 2004. Speaking with some La Salle Alums in general conversation one guy mentioned he knew someone who went to Sun Valley, that someone was TJ. The conversation ended and close to a month later Sarah received a message from TJ with a simple "Hey Sarah, how are you?" After being unsure Sarah decided not to respond. About 10 days later on a Sunday out in the city with her friend Nikki, they made a pact to keep an open mind and take a chance when it came to dating. Remembering that conversation the next day Sarah responded to TJ's message where they decided to meet for a drink a few days later. The rest is history, happiness and love...
