FAQs

Question

Are we doing anything on Friday?

Answer

We'll be gathering at Iron Hill Brewery TapHouse to hang out before the big event! It's just a few minutes down the street from the hotel.

Question

What does "formal attire" mean?

Answer

Suits and ties or midi- to floor-length dresses/jumpsuits. It is at a garden, so florals are encouraged (but not required)!

Question

It's called "The Gardens" ... does that mean there's dirt?

Answer

No! Everything is totally paved, so wear whatever shoes your outfit requires. The ceremony will be held outside, so watch the weather if you think you might need a jacket.

Question

How do I get to the venue from the hotel?

Answer

We will have busses for you outside the Hilton. It will leave at 3:45pm sharp!!!! And the ceremony will start at 4:30!! Promptly!! The ride is 15-20 minutes, so we appreciate your help in not dilly-dallying upon arrival. There will be plenty of time to dilly-dally after we're married! We'll have those same busses going back to the hotel at 10 and 11pm.

Question

What is the Hora?

Answer

The Hora is a traditional Jewish dance of celebration and joy! Also known as "the one where they put people in the chairs." We'll ask all of you to join hands and dance in a circle while the strongest (and probably least drunk) among us lift us in chairs in the center. If you're unsure, just clap along to the beat!

Question

Are my kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids, but this is an adults-only party.

For all the days along the way
