Meet us in Jupiter!

Our story began at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. Sarah and Tanner met through mutual friends a few days before the first day of classes, and learned they had business class together! Surprise to no one, Sarah approached Tanner on the first day of class and ensured he sat with her so she did not have to sit alone. As two freshmen who did not have a clue what they were getting themselves into, we took on every challenge together after that moment as best friends! Although many did not believe us, our romance did not begin until nearly the end of freshman year. On May 8th, 2022, Tanner asked Sarah to be his girlfriend. We got to support one another through everything, including our athletic seasons during our time at Oregon State University which was such a blessing! At the end of each of our junior seasons, we both decided to transfer, leading to a year of long distance. Despite this distance, we continued to grow and mature in our relationship, each of us realizing that we could not imagine spending another day with anyone else, near or far! On December 28th, 2024 Tanner proposed to Sarah in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We are overjoyed to begin the next chapter of our lives as husband and wife! We pray that God continues to bless our relationship, and help guide us in what's to come!
