I will never forget Steve's piercing eyes and how relatable he was to converse with. I had company in town and was not able to continue our conversation and moved forward as if it were any other evening. The next morning I woke up and I remembered the brief conversation I had with a man who's features were becoming quite fuzzy due to the short passing we had. I quickly got on my phone and asked our friend if he was single and if he would text me, I got a few chuckles (because what do boys do when a girl is crushing on their friend?... still not sure)... I tried not to think about it as I ventured on with my company into the mountains. We were out of service for most of the day and I kept trying to get him out of my head, but couldn't. Once we got down from the mountains, I got a text... "Hey Sarah! This is Steve we met last night. It was nice to meet you and I hope we can catch a drink sometime together." I had the biggest smile on my face and in my head I was jumping up and down. That was the end of the beginning. My brother and his wife were visiting the following weekend and didn't understand why this random guy wouldn't detach from my hip. Anyways, Steve showed us all a great time. I was ready for my spicy, hardworking, talented, stubborn Steve in my life... Here is Steve's version.... Gosh, you had a nice butt. The end.
